Guide Dogs Calendar 2009The perfect gift for a friend – do your Christmas shopping early
In
a move reminiscent of the cult hit movie Calendar Girls, the South
African Guide Dogs Association for the Blind has joined forces with
Animaltalk, its long-standing corporate social investment partner, to
publish their 2009 calendar featuring some of South Africa’s top celebs
(all fully clothed) to raise money for the Association.
The
calendar features celebs like Michelle Garforth, Bianca le Grange,
Claudia Henkel, Kerishnie Naiker, Leanne Manas, Jeremy and Jacqui
Mansfield and Thuli Sithole, with gorgeous puppies-in-training from the
Guide Dog Academy. Monies raised from calendar sales will all go to the
Association, which trains guide dogs for use by blind and
sight-impaired people, and also runs a College for Independence and
Mobility, which assists rural blind and partially-sighted people.
The
beautiful art calendar cost R95.00 and is worth every cent, with all
